Recently Wicked just came out to theaters and there is so much in this really cool movie. There are a lot of things being discussed throughout this movie but one of my favorites is in the very beginning of the movie with No One Mourns The Wicked. Throughout the Scene, everyone is cheering that the Wicked Witch of the West is dead but if you look at how Glinda reacts, you can see that she is visibly upset. She is seen as the Good Witch. At the end of the song, she is then asked if she was friends with her, to which she responds yes. This brought me a question is it “No one mourns the wicked” or is it “No, One Mourns the Wicked.” Since the movie is relatively new, the music video hasn’t come out yet. but i highly recommend watching the movie

I have a strong feeling I will be watching this movie in the near future when it is available for on-demand streaming. I know, not the same as being in a theatre. I think your take on “No one” is really interesting, because this kind of ambiguousness makes the story that much richer. We are left with our own interpretation. Great post!
